The Grizzly 5 lb stuffer regularly sells for $99 (that's with shipping), but this is a really great deal. Anyone looking to get into sausage or using a grinder as a stuffer, this is something you should jump on. You won't regret it.

Thanks Dave!

I got this last year (for the same $79). The only problem I've been having with it- my family sayin': we are making sausage again? Of course no one complains when we eat it.

I have had mine for two years and even bought a spare set of gears after reading about problems with the nylon gears. The gears and the entire unit have worked well and as long as you use even pressure on the crank you will not break any gears. I have made a lot of snack sticks using the LEM SS small stuffing tube and even with this greater pressure it stuffs my 19MM Collagen casings perfectly. I have added a little cold water to some batches but it did not affect the taste or texture of the sticks. The design of the tube base leaves very little waste and cleaning and maintenance is easy. For my needs and amount of sausage making this has been a good choice.

Great price on a good stuffer!

I don't make sticks, but mine has held up for about? 4 years now?  No problems with the nylon gears.

Good luck and good smoking.

Northern tool seems to have specials on the stuffer very often. Probably 3 in the last 4-5 months. So if you are not in a hurry...Also look up discount codes. When I bought mine I got $20off with a min of $100 purchase (I bought the grinder too).

We have a Northern Tool, I will check it out

Grizzly looks the same as northern tool. $85 before shipping.

Have been blowing buying a stuffer off for a while now. I got the one from Grizzly. Had to pay tax on top of the shipping but it was still a few bucks less than the Northern Tool price that it is at right now.

Wife and I are really good at procrastinating as of late. Have been talking about getting some butchers twine for the better part of 2 months now. Of course we needed it today....and still have not  purchased it.

I went to Northern tool a couple weeks ago and bought one of these on sale.  Seems fairly well made and functional for the small batch operator.   But OMGOODNESS!!  What have I been doing trying to stuff sausage casings with my grinder??   A whole new world opened up.  I've made 5 pounds of snack sticks, 5 pounds of SSausage, 10 pounds of snack sticks....all just for the joy of stuffing with this thing!

After paying tax and the gas to get to Northern I probably didn't save much but it was well worth the trip just to have a stuffer now.  I AM going to have to get a smaller stuffing horn for it as the 19mm snack stick casings wouldn't quite fit and I ended up stuffing snack stick meat into sausage size calogen casings.  My little girl doesn't mind eating it sliced though and neither do I.
