Hey all Troy from Jamestown, ND
Just awaiting my 1st smoker to arrive tomorrow. Smoke hollow 44" lp
Looking forward to getting hooked on smoked meat and etc.

Welcome Troy! You are starting an fun habit.

Please take a second when you have one and Click the "my Profile" icon on the above task bar, tell as little or as much as you'd care to share, but please give a general proximity of where you hang your hat at night. It helps understand and answer question and discussion when we have an idea of where you are. really appreciate it.

Take some time and use the search engine, check out your smoker for possible recommendations or read what you can expect.

Search for what others have cooked that might strike your fancy also what you have done that would inspire us to try also. Everyone helps and everyone inspires and everyone respects the view of others. You learn that there is no one way to do something here, its about learning how to make your cooker do what you want it to. to learn its quirky ways and how to bend it to preform for you. Its a lot of fun and a lot of tasty experiments while learning.

Also you'll learn I babble a lot. LOL

Nice to meet you and look forward to seeing all your smokes. I know they'll be great!

Good evening and welcome to the forum, Foamheart gave you some great information. Good to have you here
