Just using up some odds and ends I had some ground pork that I found on sale and some sweet peppers to use up.  The pork I knew had to be seasoned well so I mixed a good savory rub into the patties and then sprinkled a little on top with some Salt Pepper Garlic rub.    Served with fried potatoes and onions...provolone on the burgers.

Using the wood fired grill aka 007 I put the peppers up in the swivel dome and put the burgers down on the grilling grate.   The peppers turned out perfect and made an awesome topping for the pork burgers!    Talking about the perfect flavors to mix...oh my good.

Hmmmm looks fantastic!

A little sweet apricot or blueberry type sauce on it would be killer!

I'm gonna try the roasted sweet peppers with regular burgers too but they were amazing with the pork burger.   I can see a sauce too but the peppers are definitely getting done again.

Look tasty Keith! Pork burgers are tasty. I like to add sautéed apples, onions and Kraut and a decent mustard on top of mine.

Hmmm I could try some grilled apple slices... Maybe both sweet peppers and the apple.

Yes they go good together. I add bell or sweet peppers occasionally when I am making my sautéed apple mix. My wife likes mushrooms added too.

I do the sweet peppers the same way and add a few jalapenos for me!  My girlfriend knows to avoid the green ones!

When I mix  sometimes I forget and then get a little hot surprise . lol

I love this grill because the peppers can really cook down and blister but don't get burnt.
