1st steaks on my new 560 gravity series

Thick cut ribeyes seasoned with SPG. Lump charcoal anId hickory chunks in the hopper.
Heat for about 10mins each side at 300 deg on the top shelf. Then cranked up the heat and seared fpr 1 min on each side. Then tented them with foil fpr about 10 or 15mins before we ate. This was a very simple very easy cook and also very fun i like my new !toy

Like that steak cooked my way. Wife wouldn't touch that until it cooked a lot longer. Great looking plate guy. Simple seasoning but makes a great finish.

Those are some mighty fine looking steaks. Around here the steaks keep getting thinner and thinner. I guess the grocers are trying to maximize the amount of steaks cut from each hunk.

Those were manager special sale from food lion 1.25lbs choice cut fot 7 bucks each. I wasn't planning on steak this weekend but at that price I am happy.
 
Very nice looking cook. I really liked your next to last photo, Whiskey in one hand and Wine in the other.
The whiskey was my sous chef during the cook im just a slow drinker so I was double fisted for supper
