I have been on here a bunch of times researching bbq.  Thanks for all of the help you all have given me without even knowing it.

I am new to the forum and doing my first smoker build.  I have a 7 foot by 4 foot by 6 foot  (interior dimensions) vertical wood burning smoker.  I can get two 1400 gallon propane tanks..  4.5 foot by 13 feet long each.  I was thinking of mounting those side by side and using my current smoker as a vertical smoker attached to the two tanks.  I would appreciate any opinions or considerations.  I would also like to know how much you think it will weigh when it's all finished up?  I was going to just stick with my smoker.  It has plenty of room, but the deal I am getting on those two tanks is pretty good.

lightboy, morning and welcome to the forum....  I think each smoker should have it's own firebox for temp control purposes....

Have you looked at the "pit calculator" to determine dimensions etc. that make a smoker work well ??

I have attached it below......

Be sure to take plenty of pictures during the build.... We love pictures....    Dave
