I may be repeating a question, but when I click on the Alerts/Notifications the new ones used to be more bold, now it doesn't look any different from the ones I've already clicked on.

@Rafter H BBQ was the new one, but looks the same as the ones I already checked

Maybe a difference with the dark theme but the unread ones have a different background color. I did the alert change I posted a couple days ago.

Yes, I asked about some changes for this as well... The line between read/unread needs to be darker and the read needs to be darker while the unread could be brighter... The dark version is good... The white version, not so much...

I think you are referring to the issue I had (the same) see my post above about changing your alert preferences to alert from pop-up auto-read. Sounds like the same issue.

My take on the new site look and feel.

I was busy when the big change came to life.

I will say that as of today, I went with my dark mode and it all seems to be working fine . ( so far ) a little navigating to figure the new to me road map of where things are. I am getting used to it , and no real big issues that I could not figure out so far.

Thank you for fixing the short list back to the long list of new posts.

Thank you to all that are keeping this site rolling with all the work on the pages and behind the scenes.

I know I am a late nighter and usually post when most others are sleeping soundly but I am only trying to help with my favorite site that I enjoy every day(night). I am in no way complaining but doing my best to make sure what I point out is to help everyone enjoy this site more.

@Abigail4476 is doing an amazing job updating this site and listening to our "complaints". I know the updates will make changes that a lot of us question why. Some are good and needed but she is great so far at fixing ones that we do not want changed.

Also thanks to @PERuss to making these changes.

I think you are referring to the issue I had (the same) see my post above about changing your alert preferences to alert from pop-up auto-read. Sounds like the same issue.

Switching to dark mode highlighted the boxes of unread alerts. I tried a few things but didn't notice a difference in light mode. But that could very easily be me, im not the most tech savvy fella on the block lol.

I added user details back. They do not show on mobile. Can't recall if they did on the previous setup either but they're not really meant to show on mobile as it's a lot of info for a small screen. You can clock their name and view it on the member tooltip though.

I can confirm, the location did show on mobile before.

As far as I know, ads did not change. The new style inherited all the old ad locations so it should be the same.

Ended up not being able to work on it last week, sorry about that! Fixing soon.

Unread alerts/conversations will now display a little different. Light mode will have a subtle color shift, dark mode adjusted a little bit. Both like/dark will show a small left border as well to easily indicate there is an unread alert/convo.

I seem to remember some sort of tag on all replies that the OP made in their thread. It was handy when you were reading a longish post and wanted to reply but couldn't remember who the OP was.

Been off here a while. I used to be able to read topics or comments across my screen. Now half screen with stuff I could go to a menu item if I wanted to use an item out of those catagories every 6mo or so. Now when I get down a few posts, it is still blanking half of my screen. Kinda a waste for everyday use. I for one am not impressed with having a half screen.

It's hard to tell that it's a link , because it looks more like added text . I tried one yesterday , and it even added pictures from the link . I ended up deleting it because it was confusing .

If you like Mexican food this is a sauce that can take pretty much anything from tacos to quesadillas to another level.

It is only a few ingredients but will level up almost anything. I love it.

1 Cup Sour Cream
1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
2 large garlic cloves
2 Limes juiced
Salt as needed

I will add in my enabler mode for this. It is a very small version of a veggie chopper great for garlic cloves. I prefer to slice them first then chop them very tiny with this.

Buy it cheap from Amazon.

You get very fine garlic.

This is called "Rich previews", it's technically a new feature. I've disabled it for now to test things out. It would only work on new content posted now, not converting the existing stuff. I'll see about adjusting it further. I'm thinking the colors need to not match the messages so it stands out (like this below).
