Turned out great but a little disappointed for the lack of smoke except on the outside. Family loved it which is good because these things are huge! We’ve still a lot leftover with some food n the freezer.
Any real-world reports/recommendations? Looking for something wireless that displays on my phone if possible.
Of course there’s a bunch on Amazon but reviews there are always dodgy.
I’d like to get the wings really crispy after smoking and wonder if this has been done successfully. I don’t really want to fry traditionally if possible and we do love that air fryer.
After a lot of hand-wringing, I finally bought a Smokin' Brothers Premier Plus 30"; the 'barn' version. Found it brand new a couple hours away for a very good price so thought I'd give it a go. Currently aiming for a Thursday delivery so hope to put it to use this weekend!!
I kept coming back...
This seems to check all the boxes for me but little intel out there. Has anyone had first-hand experience with this particular model or others in the Barq series? There’s a local company that stocks a couple so I’ll pop over but thought I’d hit y’all up first. Cheers!
I’m having a tough time deciding which route to take here but do have wants/needs that might help narrow things. Having posted several times similar questions, I’ll apologize in advance.
Budget is $2K or less preferably, space for this is 40” wide and outside. I’ve narrowed down to electric or...
Particularly, I’d like to know if a half hotel pan fits; 13x18 with a 1” lip on the tray. Pretty certain the 13” isn’t an issue based on outside specs but cannot find internal specs anywhere.
Have to admit, I'm all over the place on choosing a Smoker! After a lot of consideration, I think (keyword, think) I want a charcoal smoker that I can walk away from for 8 hours or longer. I've stumbled on the Backwoods Smokers and really like the G2 Chubby but curious about a couple of...
Hi, from what I’m reading it seems RT is a solid choice for my needs/wants. Unsure which size is best; usually cook for 4 people, want enough space for 2 briskets; if I’m gonna cook 1, May as well cook 2 and the last one disappeared rather quickly. I have an upright electric currently and I had...
Matt at Meatchurch says about 3.5 hours for a 20lb turkey.....all the other recipes I see online are roughly 30 minutes per pound. Huge difference here so what gives? FWIW, I'm gonna Spatchcock for the first time too!
The opening into the cook chamber is rather large and the cook grate is approx center of it. I’ve not used it yet but after reading Aaron Franklin‘s book and the section that addresses smoker builds, I wonder if I don’t need the ‘baffle’ he talks about. I’m afraid that side of the grill will get...
Ive posted this elsewhere on the site as well so as to get some quick feedback so please excuse the dupe.

Price is great, looks solid and in good shape, stainless steel......go or no-go? I’ll need to rent a trailer.

Hi,
Ideally, I’d like about 700-1000sq in. Smoker with a lid, not a door. And made in the US.
I read a thread below about Smokin Brothers being made in the US and really like what I see there. Are there other options to consider?
It’s for my birthday (today); my lovely Wife said to buy what I...
Recently purchased a Masterbuilt electric and smoked a great brisket on it. Had to separate the point/flat as it’s too narrow. After about three hours, the thermostat showed 300 degrees and would not turn back on (max temp is 275) so I finished it in the oven overnight. I contacted Amazon and...
Well, against the advice of many people, I attempted my first brisket ever on a brand new smoker for Thanksgiving meal. I used info from this site, some YouTube videos from Hey Grill Hey and Meatchurch plus a little intel from friends to triangulate a plan....which of course failed. As they said...
