1. add a weber pizza kettle or onlyfire ring under my weber lid
2. suspend a trimmed down portion of a weber kettle bottom from my grill grate rack, as my fire source. Pull it out for smoking.. drop it in for ZA.

I am a UDS guy. I would like to try hanging ribs. Im wondering..do I really need a special rack to hang ribs? Cant I just hang them on the weber grate?? If weight /bend is an issue, couldnt I just lay rebar across the grate at a 90 degree to the grate?
