Your Favorite Jerk Rub or Marinade

Going to make jerk chicken wings on the UDS for the Super Bowl. What is your best jerk rub or marinade. Thanks

I just ordered some dry rub and marinade. If it does not get in by the weekend I will have to use your marinade.

I think that was shags marinade...  Not fast shipping but it'll be well worth the wait.  Which rub and which marinade did you order?

My sister-in-law worked at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and about 25 yrs. ago gave me this recipe from the Culinary Arts School there and passed it on to me.

Its called Cornell Marinade, the name is as simple as the recipe.

This recipe will do about 2 cut -up chickens.

1 egg (yes, an egg)

1 cup apple cider vinegar

1 cup veg oil

1 tbsp. poultry seasoning

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. black pepper

1 tsp. onion power

Marinate overnight or about 8-10 hours in a sealed container or a ziplock.

Rinse chicken in cold water, pat dry, coat lightly with oil & apply a rub or seasoning of your choice.

DISCARD MARINADE!

Smoke, bake, or BBQ, whichever you choose.
