Thought I would share this with you all. My butcher I get almost all my meat from calls me today. He tells me he is having a special on rib roasts and rib eye stake due to over ordering by his partner. Choice is $5.99, and select is $4.79 per pound. I decide why not, I can get a rib roast and smoke that up for the 14th, and save the hassles and wait of going out, and have a much better dinner. I select 2 choice rib roasts 1 is 4.5# other is almost 5# I ask him if he will wrap them for the freezer and naturally he does. He takes them and goes to the back to wrap them up, he comes back with 3 packages. He hands me the roasts and then says this is on me, it's a couple stakes, for you guys. When I checked out The total bill was less then I was expecting, I checked the bill and realized the roasts were marked wrong, I went back in and told Brad he had made a mistake on the roasts, they were marked the select price. His reply my mistake your gain.
