Went out and gathered yesterdays eggs before the weather came in.

Sold 7dz this week. Still $3.00dz...why rip anyone off with $12 dz.

Washed this morning.

thats gold right there!

folks in my parts sell them for $6/dz...or they used to I stopped buying them when we started feeding our dogs raw eggs.

We sell ours at 5 a dozen, but we don't get near the eggs in the winter. Short days and cold weather really slow those girls down. People are always asking me for eggs these days. But yours are lookin good Rick.👍

Nice! We have 9 girls and they over provide for us. In fact, just took roughly 50 eggs out of the freeze dryer yesterday. Powdered, scrambled, raw eggs freeze dried are (to me and wife at least) damn near indistinguishable from fresh when cooked like a scrambled egg. The prices are nuts!

They look good! There is a shortage down here (I did not even know but when mentioned to the good lady that there were none at the shops she did) - Smoked eggs are amazing but let's be real - so are fried, poached, omelettes, scrambled.... even boiled!

You could up your price easily a dollar or so and anyone would completely understand . Would help with your feed costs.
Good on you for being fare minded.

Good on you for not gouging Rick! I've got a local place that sells for between $2.50 and $3. Stores around here vary from $3 to $7 a dozen. Most the cheap ones have limit 1 right now. The farm fresh ones are so good

Rick we've stayed at 3 bucks as well and she's selling every one they produce

My wife and I keep a flock of 18 hens (and one rooster because the local hatchery isn't that good at sorting) and we just raised our price to $5/doz. What got us is the feed suppliers are having trouble keeping things in stock. We either have to make feed runs more frequently or visit multiple stores when we need feed. I think the cost of eggs has caused more people to raise chickens here and the stores haven't dialed in the supply timing yet. Hopefully that will get sorted soon.

To make up for the price increase we do offer free duck egg samples when possible. We have 3 duck hens (and one drake, again local hatchery and sorting) but we tend to use most of those eggs ourselves as they make the best fried eggs and ice cream.

wife just started ordering food and scratch from Chewy, so far it's been quite affordable and great quality.

Beautiful! I hear that if you drop a dozen, you can file a claim with State Farm now!!! LOL!!! I am going thru about 1 dozen per week on Keto...need to find a local egg supply.
