After lurking around here for the last few years I have to start by saying thanks for the wealth of information on here. It has helped me many times. Now onto my question.

Been smoking on a chargriller with SFB and an MES30 for about 4 years now. After the MES crapped out last weekend I'm looking at the WSM 22. But before I hand over any money I'd like to be sure it will do what I want. I like my cooker to run 270-275. So to all you WSM owners. Will this cooker comfortably run 275 or will I have troubles or need mods for this. Thanks

I agree with the above, the WSM 22 that I have actually likes to run hot, in fact that my biggest complaint about it, having to tone it down. That's why I usually go to my 18 instead, easier fire management for me.

Thanks for the reassurance and quick replies. Looking forward to picking one up now
