The Tax Gods willing, I see a new smoker in my future. No questions on which one..WSM is it.The only question is how big of a tool do I need to get the job done.

The question.....If I want to smoke a 10-12 lb brisket, is the WSM 18" big enough to pull an all night smoke ?

Thank You for your help, I value your experience.   Paul

The question is not can it pull an all night smoke - the WSM 18" definitely can pull an all nighter as a function of fuel capacity and efficiency.  The question should be can a brisket of that size fit on the 18" dia. grate.   If it doesn't fit you can place a brick or something on the grate and kinda hump it up to take up some slack until it shrinks from cooking.

Thank you gentleman we have the answer. I was leaning towards the WSM 18, since I usually only cook for a few people. But at the same time, once or twice a year we will have a house full (8-10 people) and I need to put on a good show. Thanks again, you guys are always there to help out.........Paul
