I've always liked Spam. My GGM used it a lot when I was little, so, to me, it's basically a "comfort food". However, like just about everything ELSE nowadays, the mfgs have DRASTICALLY upped the salt content to the point where it was practically inedible to me.

So I made WolfePit's recipe and, while it doesn't necessarily "taste" like Spam to me, I like it...a LOT!

I think it's a keeper...AND a recipe I can tweak to get different flavors.

Just thought I'd share...as you were! :)

Nice job on that. Someone else on the forum made spam recently but can't remember who lol

Sounds like something I need to try soon!

Looks good! Like SPAM but agree too salty and I like salty stuff. If you want to another variant to try, check out leberkase.

Thanks for sharing, I looked it up and found it interesting, it is basically salt and sugar, and no spice.

I’ll have to give this a try. I love some fried spam a couple times a month.

Just found this while browsing around for a low salt spam recipe for @Fueling Around , as he got me interested and my wife also is reducing her sodium, this looks good and nice pics!
