Windows 8.1 pop ups

Anyone know how to stop  these? just got new pc and they come from everywhere every page. Makes even this site not much fun. Was reading thread on turkey and at top was turkey sales. Right now is smokers. Heeeeeeelp. Please

I found they were worse on google chrome... be sure an load "updates"... I had 2-300 undates that needed uploading... update your virus protection as you go along....

+1 and yes chrome has been really bad since the last update. I never thought I would ever say this but Internet Explorer is working like a charm right now with ad blocker plus.

If you become a premier member you can remove advertisements in your settings also
