Wife saw me stacking this Tues this week. Knowing I don't normally bring that much wood from the rack for smoking. Her, "So why are you doing that?". Me "I have meniscus surgery Thursday right, so sat when I'm resting and recouping I want have far to travel for the wood" . She shakes her head and walks off. She just don't understand priorities. 20181007_125359.jpg
Got an aldi's seasoned point and some spam ready to go. Crutches suck but gives a good excuse to watch football and keep smoke rolling.

So it’s not just my wife lol I feel your pain. But, like gmh said, no complaints when it’s time to eat, other than how long it took. She just doesn’t get the concept of low n slow, and it will get done when it’s done.

For sure they just don't seem to understand. She should of already had that job done. :D

I didn't see that working too well when we had to unload Smoking Peachys wood from his truck?!:D:p

Good luck with the surgery. I kind of get the same look unloading 10 bags of KBB out of my truck when its on sale.

Mine would say , " why do you need two bags of charcoal ? "
Well I need 3 , but I'm willing to settle for 2 .

Based on the comments smoking meat is the man thing. I know there are plenty of female making good Q but men seem to take to it in larger numbers. Like most on here firing up the smoker is therapeutic in many ways. And most of the time just tastes dang good also.
