Who's braving the cold and rolling smoke this weekend?

If I had a new Shirley Pit delivered today, I would also be firing that bad boy up no matter the weather! Very nice. And did you say "the first one" as there may be more in your future?

No smoke today for me. Too cold. Its 60* right now. (Runs and hides). Leftovers for us today.
Yes Sir, we cater and have been using Lang's since forever and the Shirley pits are going to replace the Lang's over the next couple years.

I usually run a Lang for 2 seasons and sell them off before they need more attention than I have time to give them. The way Shirley's are made all I'll ever need to do is paint them and keep right on running with them.

Very impressed with how the Shirley runs hot and fast style, the 3/8" steel holds heat better and get's it done with far less firewood consumption.

Great looking smoker.

It is a balmy 3* here right now, and feels like -9*. Since it was cold and snowy today, I tried my hand at cold smoking cheese for the first time.

With my MES down for the moment pending Masterbuilt getting back to me concerning what part I need...well, I can only cold smoke. So I guess Monday I'll cold smoke some bacon and let it sit 2 days and then just freeze it until my masterbuilt works and double smoke.
