I am not in the snobby coffee corner - I like the sustainable beans and the fun for me is trying all the beans and the mixes that  S Marias puts together

I never buy anything over $7 #

I hear ya...

I like to get 3 or 4 different kinds in 5 lb lots and then spend an inordinate amount of time getting the roast to where it is perfect for me..

7-8 bucks is about where I draw the line too.

The Behmor is gonna take some time to get used to..so I expect that once the house, barn, fence painting is done some folks may be getting some roasted beans...hahahahahahaha

Never understood why that stuff is so expensive.  $125 to $149 a pound for Kopi Luwak? Guess someone has to follow the Palm Civet around and wait on it to do it's business?  Since it has "Palm" in it's name it might be rather hard to follow too.

Seems like some enterprising individual would figure out what the special change is and find a commercial way to duplicate it.  I would guess it has to do with the enzymes in the digestive tract?  Oh, crap..... just gave away my secret plan to supplement my retirement!

Next years harvest in the making.....

Ah Ha.....  Select beans swallowed whole by "mature" gentlemen and marinated in the finest whiskey and gently kissed by the aroma of hand rolled Cuban cigars and thin blue smoke.  Just don't ask to tour the "harvesting" plant.  So where do we sign up to be employees of this fine establishment? If this is the job description, I can't wait to see the other benefits and retirement plan!!!!
