100lb Whole Hawg going on the Lang 84 Deluxe late Friday night for a birthday party at the Lake of the Ozarks on Saturday. Hopefully the remnants of Hurricane Isaac will be kind to us here in the Ozarks.

Sounds like it will be a good time. Can't wait to see the pictures.

Our July pig roast brought record rainfall that I thought would bring the festivities to a halt. Everyone gathered under the deck, inside, under tents, and wherever they could get shelter. They ate, ran thru the rain to get more, ran back and kept eating and yakking! Best pig roast we ever had. So don't let a little hurricane get in the way... party down!!

Meantime we'll hope the skies clear up for the feast!

They are forecasting the rain to be moved out by noon on Saturday. I have a big carport to put the smoker under so we should be in good shape. Here is a pic of the hog we did in July.
