Does anyone have a source for dust like we got from Todd. I have tried on other brand and it was much more coarse and didn't burn great. Any help would be appreciated!
Can make your own, I have many times. I would take a couple handfuls of pellets , put in coffee can and a little water just to soak the pellets for a while. Poor out on sheet pan and would put in my MES 40 at 230° for a couple hrs. The more you handle the finer it becomes.

Not sold I don't think. Went down this rabbit hole a while back. Todd's dust was NICE/just right. While you can buy dust online but it's either too coarse or fine. Making from pellets is near identical to Todd's. Best dust I made was simply wetted then dried over 2 weeks in the house. Nuke/oven dried is NO. Smoker might work tho. I bought a $10 meat grinder and ground pellets into dust and that was better than blender but a pain and not as good wetted/dried. I only use dust for cold smoking and not really doing much of that as of late. I am sure you can find a better way to make it easier. A drying screen for herbs would probably speed up the drying considerably.
