I live in Kenall Florida and recently purchased an off-set smoker...anyone know where I can buy wood for smoking locally? Maybe somewhere in Homestead? Any help is appreciated

First of all, welcome to SMF!

When you get the chance, would you swing by "Roll Call" and introduce yourself.

That way we can all give you a proper welcome.

Lowe's, Home Depot, Publix, and Walmart all sell bagged wood.

In this part of the country you are going to get a combination of Oak, Hickory, & Pecan.

The bag will usually say Florida hardwood and will cost about $5 per bag.

You can also check out local tree trimmers, but that wood will need to be seasoned.

I'm also moving this to the General Discussion section where more people will see it.
