I am a 4th generation owner of Ace hardware stores in Wisconsin.  We have 4 and are open and working serving the public 7 days a week.  I love what I do and get to see the impact with customers on a daily basis.  I used to be in the corporate world, but came back into the family business 20 years ago or so and love it!  There are higher paying gigs, but this one truly gives me satisfaction and a sense of self and worth that the others didn't.  I hope you all get this type of feeling about what you do as it makes the job less of a job and a lot more.

I am a physician assistant in orthopaedic surgery. Been a PA for 23 years, spent 20 years in US Air Force, now working at a local VA.

30 years in law enforcement here.....the last 20 years in crime scene investigation. Also work as a deputy coroner and plan to run for County Coroner in the May primary in 2016 and retire from the law enforcement end of it. When I have the time (or should I say "make the time")  to spend around the pit is when life slows down for me. Still a novice but I am thoroughly enjoying it thus far. Would like to upgrade to a heavier Lang or Horizon unit. Suggestions on which to pursue?

I went to college for Nuclear Medicine and spent 7 years as a nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital. But for the last 15 years I have been a clinical specialist for a large healthcare company selling nuclear medicine equipment. I cover the entire east coast from Maine to Alabama and really enjoy it.

I am a Mom. I left the full time workforce 8 years ago. In my previous life I worked for Waste Management as a dispatcher. Now I work for my family full time and work PT from home as a customer service agent.

Started as a financial guy. Worked for a company that provided retirement plans for small companies. Went thru the layoff thing and found my wHole to being a 911 operator and police dispatcher. Been doing it for 13 years now. Not on the glamorous side of law enforcement, but it's a great job and I work with great people.
