I have been a Civil Engineer and Sr. Project Manager for private engineering firms for 22 years. After the recent downturn in the economy I had enough of deadlines, working 60-hours, all weekend, holidays and then during the downturn taking a 50% pay cut and have all health insurance put on my back (effectively making it a 70% pay cut), I decided to go to the Transit industry and become a Project Manager for the local Transit Authority keeping buses, Mobility Vans and Trains up and running for the public.

I have a basic work week of just under 40 hours so now I have time with my family and to enjoy simpler things in life like sitting on my porch with a beer and learning how to smoke stuff!

EDIT - AND I NEED TO LEARN HOW TO RESPOND TO AN EXISTING THREAD!!! STUPID ME!!!:icon_redface:
