What type insulation

  I've removed the old insulation (looked like shredded cardboard formed into large sheets) and need a replacement. What kind should I use? Can I strip the paper backing off of pink insulation and use that/ Can I leave the paper backing on and place the paper side to the outside?

J, morning.... I would strip the paper off or buy batts that do not have paper....  Fiberglass should be OK if the insulation chamber is totally sealed so fibers do not get to the food.....   Dave

Thanks Dave. That's what I'll use. Already have a couple of rolls with the paper backing and will use that.
