What is everyone paying for choice packers?

Stopped at a market this morning and they were putting brisket packers in the cooler, so thinking I would snag a nice, fresh hunk of beef, I looked them over. I could not believe they had went up to $4.00 per pound!
It seems they have been steadily climbing, so wondering what prices you guys are seeing, and where?

3.29 prime from costco. Cooked really fast. I told a coworker that costco sells prime and he got one too and cooked fast for him also

I haven't checked the Choice grade brisket prices for a couple of weeks at my local grocer. Last time I checked a full packer was in the mid $3 range, untrimmed points alone about 70 cents higher. The Costco I switched to also has Primes at $3.29.

I will check our Sam's club next week. I have bought two "prime" briskets and will never buy another. Both were marbled with fat throughout the meat to the point it was just too much for my tastes. I had much rather have a nice choice grade and leave some fat cap on than have fat throughout the meat

Right now I'm paying $3.34/lb. for Iowa Premium Angus through Sysco.

Same here as far as the prime from Costco. They are cheaper than the choice packers than the Sam's sells here.

$3.56 at the local Cash and Carry for choice Angus.

$4 a pound ain’t bad for brisket in Michigan. That’s actually a great price for choice here. But beefs always been high here. I have a hook up that will get me prime cheaper if i buy case price but that’s because I’m buying 1000 pounds or more of meat off them a year. And NO I don’t want to hear about sams or gordons been frozen for 6 months prices. Im talking legit butcher shop prices. $4 ain’t bad for choice here.

$1.99/lb at Kroger last week...I think they were Choice though

We have $1.77/lb at Kroger right now for choice briskets. They had gotten down to $1.44/lb two weeks ago and I bought 3. Did 2 for friends. They came out amazing!
