Not sure it would be a good idea, but figured I'd run it past the experts here. I'll be buying some bellies Friday morning. I could get them started curing that morning, but I'm going out of town for the Memorial Day weekend, and won't be home until Monday night to rub and turn it over (I believe that's called "overhaul"). That would be three days siting in one position. Not sure that's a good idea. I'm sure there are good reasons that you are supposed to turn it. So do I: (1) start the cure Friday, with no turning until Monday night; or (2) be patient and put it in the cure when I get home? Thanks for your input folks!
