What do ya'll think of this hand made smoker with cast iron for the coals

handmade smoker ceramic tile insulation makes gr8 brisket and ribs im moving and i cant take her with me she must go to a good home the cooking chamber is 17x16x20"

The seller is priced at $100 which I can't afford.  I offered $10 and it might be mine if no one else comes by and offers a better price. 

What do you think of this?  is it ok to smoke with ceramic tile insulation construction?  thoughts on the cast iron part?
 
I think it's safe to cook in.

But it sure looks like it would be hard to get charcoal & wood in the firebox.

I don't mind bending a knee to rake the coals.  How long would coals + some wood chips last in that cast iron fire box?  any rough estimate?
