What Cut is the Lowest Price in the Beef Case?

I just finished prepping about a 4 # chuck roast to cook tomorrow then vacuum sealing portions for future meals. With the sale price + the Senior day discount (10%) we're talking around $7 per lb. Sometimes we get sirloin (or sirloin cap ) for about the same price.

I'm curious... what cut of beef is the lowest priced in your neck of the woods? I have not priced things like tongue, liver, or oxtail.

When Bottom round is on sale, look for Rump roast.
Its got more fat marble to it., Also a nice fat cap.
Not bad if its Med Rare. If cooked too much can be tough.
Slice it thin for best results, Its very lean meat.
Slow cook @250 with liquid ( Apple juice).
I pull @ 125 t0 130 top, let it rest.
Slightly higher priced than Bottom round , but a better cut.
May not be the cheapest cut, but better than usual London broil.
Its my GO TO for RB.

Oxtail is super expensive in my area. Liver pretty cheap

I buy all mine as beef primals at GFS . So won't cross over into regular Grocery sales .
Cheapest where I buy is beef bottom round flat .
Great cut of beef with a lot of uses if you have the " vision "
$4.99 a pound . Dropped in the last 2 days , but it's an average of 15 pounds per , with some waiste .
