The household CEO/CFO just informed me that she wants thick ribeyes for tomorrow so I'll make a grocery run in the AM. Love college ball but not much of an NFL fan but we love to eat.

Smoked meatloaf is the best. Won’t do it any other way anymore!Mrs. Smoke had oral surgery last week and can’t chew. So, I’m going to try smoked meatloaf for the first time. I’ll smoke it today since it is supposed to rain Sunday. Our other Super Bowl friend has a broken leg and can’t travel so it will be just us this year.

They just don't know what they missed...Bryce had 5 friends invited, only ended up with 2 here.
Here is the end result of the appetizers I'd mentioned further up this thread. I made one rack of bacon-wrapped japepeno poppers (the filling was cream cheese, shredded sharp cheddar, sliced scallion, and pulled pork), and another rack of smoked mushrooms, filled with sautéed hot sausage, onion, jalapeño, sharp cheddar, and parmesan-reggiano. Both turned out great, and it's fun to smoke something that doesn't take most of a day. Poppers done in 2 1/2 hours, mushrooms in just an hour at 240F over hickory and cherry smoke.

Yes I like heat but there has to be a good taste as well, Jeff knows how to do both in the same bottle.I've seen you eat the heat before so this combo must have gone down like spring water. LOL

Everything but the shrimp rind sounds good to me.I had to work until 5, didnt get home until 6, so nothing smoked. However, the wife had a shrimp ring, corn salad, guac, chips n salsa, veggie pizza, chicken strips and a regular pizza laid out, so I didnt wither away to nothing........
