Living here in Northern Ontario we are not suppose to plant till after the full moon in May. I Have not used my garden for a couple of years and the weed and grass took over. Spent the better part of today trying to clean it up for planting season. I managed to get my seed potatoes in and make a sign on my laser engraver.
Happy with both results and will get to planting beans that are soaking, peas, onions and carrots.
My back is not made for this anymore.

Mighty fine looking! Wife and I (her mainly) have an enclosed 15 x 30 foot garden. Plenty of rewarding work!

I use my garden every year and wife and I still had to pull a lot weeds before I could till it on Monday.
Taters , onions, peas, and carrots should have gone in 2 weeks ago. I'll be planting in the mornings for the next few days before the heat sends me indoors.

I only do tomatoes and peppers in a raised bed and planting bags these days. I have so many peppers in the freezer I am just putting in some tomato plants this weekend. I feel you on the weeding. With all the rain my back landscaping was a disaster with weeds and thistle. I often hire out the cleanup of that and leaves for around $350. Decided to be frugal and spent the entire day today cleaning it up. I'm beat lol.
