I understand they are targeting police there. I am glad there hasn't been a successful attack and I hope you and the people who serve you remain safe.

Being a vet, I Salute he, his family and Canada.

A lot of vets are doing the same here. Thank you for serving.
Among numerous shows of solidarity in US, Pittsburg Penguins played "O Canada" (Canadian national anthem) before the game last night.

Thank you USA!
Indeed. You know who your friends are when there are situations like this. To our neighbours and brothers in democracy, thank you.

A Psalm of David.
1The Lord is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
2He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.
3He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of righteousness
For His name's sake.
4Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You have anointed my head with oil;
My cup overflows.
6Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Nice.

My heart goes out for him, his family and friends, all Canadians, and all decent people in the world.

Prayers for all.

Good luck and good smoking.

My sincere condolences to the officers family and friends. We live in a world gone crazy these days. RAY

The security people have said he acted alone. The security video show he snuck up behind the Canadian soldier and shot him in the back. Coward.
