Been wanting something heavy duty to puree meat for hot dogs..... Any one have any suggestions... Was looking at the vitamix or the ninja but prefer to go commercial with a small unit...

I'll second the Blendtec. I got one about a couple years ago, and have pureed meat several times.I just called the folks at Blendtec. They have an amazingly strong blender that we use for all kinds of things including making dough. They confirmed that you can puree meat with the unit using the pulse program. If anyone is looking for a top of the line blender this is the one. Costco has it on line cheaper than anywhere else I have found
