i'd love to but as of right now i'm to far east & my gigs are about to take me farther east. i do have a few friends that do - & it ain't about "occupational immigrants" as people think- it's about MI13 & alquaeda... oh n.m.- we know what it's about...besides i wasn't the spotter 1/2......

This will be my first time on the lines, but me, my father, good friend in OH, and my cousin are taking two 5th wheels, night vision gear, ham gear, ccw's, along with whatever gear we need for the actual watches and basically gonna make a week or two of it. I'm not certain what it will entail, but I spent enough quarterdeck and pier gate duties to know how to stand watch. I'm hoping to get to help with the Ham nets (I'm a fairly new ham), but I'll go where they tell me.

just remember- it's reporting (to ins)not apprehending or anything else)- then it's an "international incident"- they screw us like that.it's basically camping & watching & getting chewed by deer ticks & skeet thorns.but if ya see a hog- nail it & eat well.

Well, that's exactly what the second week is for. Hog hunting at my folks ranch outside of Carrizo Springs. He's right on the river and he's over run with hogs. Looking forward to that!!!

Perhaps we can meet while you are in this neck of the woods. I do not know where your minute man duties will take you, but I do know that Carrizo is not too far from Uvalde.

Goat, I'd love it. I'm not sure yet either. The parties involved (mine) are still trying to figure out exactly when we can do it, then we have to work with MMDC to see where they want us and in what capacity. Once we have it all worked out, I'll PM you and see if you're available.
