A couple of years ago I used my Q-Matz to make the Curley's bacon kit into rounds instead of strips (link here), but they still were more elliptical than circular.
It was time to make more (actually, WAY past time), and this time it occurred to me that standing them on end in the fridge overnight with the Q-Matz for support might help keep their shape.
After smoking the next day in the Q-Matz with plastic wrap removed, I wasn't overwhelmingly impressed. But these were more round, and didn't have the flat side like the last ones.
I ended up with around 200 slices and end scraps this time around. That should last me through the summer.
