Hi Everyone,
Glad those in the states had an awesome July 4th. Happy Independence Day!
I wanted to ask if anyone was familiar with dealing with vacuumed sealed smoked foods?
Does anyone know how long a vacuum sealed pork butt or belly can last outside the fridge in a vacuumed sealed bag?
Thanks ahead.

Not any longer than food that hasn't been vacuum sealed. A vac sealer does not offer any protect against temperature born food bugs. They only offer and air free space which protects against freezer burn.

Now sealed foods will last up to 5X longer if they are kept in the refer at a food safe temp, otherwise nope it isn't going to offer any help at all out of the freezer or refrigeration.
