Some weeks back the 5x coupons would reset in a day or so, so you could use them 5 times on Wednesday then 5 times on Thursday, but now they don't do that. However, I have noticed that some coupons that are the same price are actually different coupons, this week I was able to get three $4.99 Coca-Cola coupons and all three worked. Some of the coupons must have been the same though because I had clipped 5 of them but now I have none left. Nice to stock up with it $8 off, looks like I'll be switching to something different to drink, I just can't pay more then $5 for a 12 pack of soda.

Found a pretty cool essentially 50% off deal today related to Kroger and all affiliates via Instacart. Only certain stores offer pickup via Instacart but in my case 1 of the 4 nearby does. If you apply coupon code HEAT40OFF80 to your Instacart account you get $40 off $80 on a pickup order. Two things to note 1) you can link your Kroger card to get discount pricing 2) coupons do not apply. That said with what's basically 50% off you can find great deals. I'm buying 5 3 lb. packs of 80/20 ground beef @$15.99 per package and added a packet of taco seasoning as a filler to hit the $80. Total is $80.60 - $40.00 = $40.60 for 15 lbs so $2.70 /lb.

I go to the store website and look up the weekly ads.

New weekly ads start on Wed BUT every Tuesday the website will give you the "preview" of the weekly add that is starting on Wednesday (the next day).

My 3 grocery store chains do this. So every Tuesday I go to the website, to the weekly ads, and look at the "preview" for the following ad about go live on Wed :D

This is also helpful to know if the next weeks ad sucks (starting Wed) I can run to the store on Tuesday and hopefully score the good items on the last day of the current live ad before having a crappy week of deals that start with the new ad on Wed :D

Try an app or website called Flipp. They have most weekly flyers posted per zip code. The phone APP allows you to favorite stores and items. FLIPP Weekly Flyers.
