Unstuffed Peppers (Been a Long Time)

I can’t remember the last time we made these “Unstuffed Peppers”.
I love Stuffed Peppers, but this way is so much easier, and tastes exactly the same. IMO
It's all the things most people put in when they make Stuffed Peppers, but We cut a bunch of peppers up, instead of stuffing them, and cook it all together.

Ingredients: Just off the top of my head:
Ground Beef
Diced Tomatoes
Chopped up Sweet Peppers
Rice
Tomato Sauce
Seasonings

I add Hot Stuff to mine. She doesn't want her's hot.

Sorry---Nothing here is smoked, but I Still love it !!!

I put it on a dish if I'm in a hurry, or in a bowl if I plan on taking my time to eat it.

Tip: When you heat something up in the Microwave, if you make a "Hole" in the middle, it will heat up faster & more even:

Very cool, never thought of that, For me I would add some habaneros and sub out the rice for riced cauliflower...but will need to try this - Thx for sharing

Looks great! We love stuffed peppers. I’ve done stuffed pepper soup too. Ok have to try that microwave tip.

Oh man that looks great Bear!

I do a Stuffed Bell Pepper soup that is maybe my favorite! All the flavors for stuffed bell peppers but as a soup! It cooks in like 30 minutes too. It's so amazing!

Looks tasty bear, never heard of putting the hole in the middle to heat things in the microwave, will have to try that.

This looks good. Never been a fan of Stuffed Peppers but I do a similar twist for Inside Out Stuffed Cabbage. Fast and tastes the same...JJ

Yup---I've found that the outer part gets hotter than the inner parts, and faster too.
So making it all outer parts, by removing the middle makes it heat faster & more evenly.
When I do small pieces, I line them all around the outside of the plate. Give it a try.

Well I'm late to the party again John. Looks great and what an easy idea. Great tip on the microwave too. We reheat a lot of stuff so this will be a great idea. Great job.
