UK newbie - first attempt at smoking this weekend

Discussion in 'Roll Call' started by horsebox, Aug 18, 2014.

  1. Hi all, what a great resource you have here.

I've just bought a Weber 57cm Kettle to use at our holiday home and eager to gain as much knowledge, wisdom and insight as possible.

I'm planning on smoking some pork ribs, chicken and sausage this weekend, maybe a shoulder of pork as well. I found some great little mods on the weber kettle club blog and am deciding which one(s) to try this coming holiday weekend.

BBQ (real smoking BBQ) has gained popularity in the UK in the last few years and more and more folk are starting to appreciate the low and slow methods.

I will post back with pictures and results after the weekend...
