I'm sitting at a birthday party for a friend's daughter. Meanwhile, I have pork butt smoking at home. Not a comfortable feeling, but I've gotta give this wifi stuff a shot sometime. So far it's actually pretty awesome.
But I also saw a coupon at HEB for some of this stuff https://www.heb.com/product-detail/...s-sweet-amp-spicy-pulled-pork-starter/1698314 for FREE if you bought a butt. It's hard to argue with free and the ingredients sounded interesting. So I'm treating it like foiling sauce, I put it in a foil boat with the butt at 150° when I had to leave the house.

Before the sauce

We'll see how this turns out...

Sorry, forgot to snap a pic when I sauced it.

That pulled pork starter product seems like it may have been designed to give more of a BBQ flavor to people who are cooking their pork in a crock pot. I always like trying new things. I hope it goes well. Let us know how it turns out.

Oh, it definitely is. But I'm always game to try something. And free ninety nine is my favorite price

Which wifi thingy are you using, Rick?

Green Mountain Grills Jim Bowie grill. I calibrated the grill thermometer and probe against my iGrill using their app. It worked extremely well for me in server mode, no issues whatsoever.

As for the sauce, it made for a very flavorful pulled pork. I usually do mine dry and add bbq after. This was different than my usual but the old lady liked it and so did the kids. I did too. So hey, it was a win win.
