Have been wanting to try some turkey bacon. Does anyone have a recipe is it the same as pork? Or is the meat to soft to take the cure?

I have never done any of that yet dennis but I would think it is alot like regular bacon. But I would be interested to know since I am about to cook some dinners for my cousin. Who cann't eat anything with salt or fat in it.
