New to the forum and smoking, just got a smoker for fathers day so I'm here to learn about using it. Anyway getting in shape for the 1st time in my life has been an obsession for me this year, I've tried to lose the fat for years but just couldn't find a way of eating right I could stick to. This new smoker will probably be a small set back until the new wears off

because I'm going to be eating a little more for a while, but thats okay I'm not going to let it get out of hand.

On 12-21-15 I started doing 16:8 intermittent fasting and just doing calisthenics, really need to exercise a little harder I losing fat like a boss but I'm not building any real noticeable muscle. I've cut out all processed foods except for the rare cheat day, I think after years of failure I'm finally on the right track.

Oh boy!

I hate to be the one to tell you but this forum is a diet buster for sure.

All I can say is you have to exercise more to keep it off.

Dang, I always wished pulled pork sammies were diet food.

But I don't think so.

I to have been trying to lose some pounds.

It's tough to do.

Congratulations on the shiny new smoker.

Veggies , low salt jerky for protiens.
Once you lose the pounds you can't gain muscle without eating properly. One thing that guys trying to build muscle do is eat a lot! But they eat properly . White chicken, lean meats.
Or start protien supplement.
