I am going to try this:
My smoker has a door for inserting chips.
I thought maybe I would leave the door on but prop it open. Just so I don't possibly damage it and not get it back on if I don't like the set up.
I'll be looking around for an old BBQ vent so I can have adjustable airflow, but until then I'm trying to come up with an idea for airflow that will be temporary. Probably drill a hole were the vent will go when I find one.
Any ideas?
Also, without tubing will there be more "dirty smoke" that may be undesirable?
My take on the mailbox mod.
Here is my take on the mailbox mod for the master built 40 inch electric smoker. Are used a 50 caliber ammo cans purchased at the local Walmart cut a 3 inch hole in it and just attached it right to the side of the smoker and it works perfectly with the AMNPS. 13 hours of light and forget smoke!
