SWEET!! Nice toy Richie. Today is actually the 5th anniversary of me owning my 2500 Ram and it just turned over 40K miles coming home from Wichita Sunday. It spends the majority of it's time in the garage and typically only gets used to pull the boat with. I had a couple Ram's prior to this one that had the gasoline Hemi engines in them and they were gas hogs for sure. The current one has the high-output Cummins turbo diesel and gets over 20 mpg on average and about 24 on the highway. That's not bad considering it's a heavy truck with the 4-wheel drive (extra weight of the front differential and the transfer case), long bed, and crew cab. Hell, I had a Nissan Frontier a year and a half ago with the V-6 in it and only got 15 to 16 mpg out of that. My daily driver now is a Mazda CX5 and I love that little thing!!

Congrats Richie and Merry Christmas!!
Robert

Congrats on the new truck!! I drove 5 pickups in a row before getting a company car. I’ve been truckless now going on 15 years. It will be one of my first purchases when I retire.

My wife wants me to sell our 2001 Taco Double Cab.
I tell her "NO!"
At 52K miles it's not even broken in yet.
Besides, the way things work out, a week after selling it we' ll need it.

Nice Wheels Richie!!
Both of my Ram 1500s were Gas hogs, but so were all full size pickups from those years.
They still rode just as smooth as any Huey I rode in!
I don't drive any more, so we only have to deal with Mrs Bear's car.
