Did a mayo smear and seasons and on the pellet grill at 250

1 hr in started dipping in bbq sauce that was thinned w apple juice

Cranked up the heat to 375 to finish them

Been wanting to make them for the grandkids but haven't yet. Those look great and tasty 😋

Haven’t been a big fan of drums, but have debated trying the lollipop thing.
Idle curiosity … why wrap the handle with foil?

@Inscrutable some do some don’t - thing it keeps them from turning black

@WaterRat i left the little bone in cause it was just me and the wife. I mot really sure how to remove? Thinking needle nose pliers lol

I slide my thumb and forefinger down to the base (may need to make a little room with a knife) then snap it off as far down as possible. I guess a pliers would work though take care not to crush the bone. After removing I check to make sure it’s whole and feel around for splinters if I don’t think it broke cleanly.
