Smoking a Tri-tip today.

Used a simple rub that's been on it for about 72 hours (was supposed to smoke it on Saturday but was way too tired)

Using normal charcoals this time. Single layer and my soaked wood above it.

Indirect Char-Griller brand. Cross your fingers. I think I'm getting better at getting a good steady temp of 250.

Have you ever tried not soaking the wood? As far as I'm concerned it just slows down the getting to smoke process which is why you put in the wood. Hope the TT was tasty!
