WOW!! That looks absolutely superb Chris. Perfectly cooked and just breathtaking. It may go against your grain, but I gotta say, that plated shot looks fantastic. Very well done and happy anniversary.

Great day for you both all around

David
Yes it was a great day and thank you muchly David.
Chris, first let me congratulate you on finding someone that could put up with you for that long...:emoji_laughing: Seriously though, in a world where marriage is often viewed as something disposable, is discarded and replaced once the new is worn off, the good is gone, the going gets tough, 37 years is amazing. And the perfect tri-tip meal is just icing on the cake...

Hopefully many more years of marital bliss if you just remember these 2 words...
YES DEAR!!
Appreciate it Charles. I'd hate to see where I'd be if it wasn't for my wife.

Chris

Great Tri-Tip Chris. Excellent approach to sear and then go indirect. Congrats to both of you for making it work and welcome to the more than 35 years clan!
Thanks scholtz, I tend to over cook when I reverse sear. Searing first allows me better control.

Appreciate it Mike. congrats on almost 38 years. At least I get credit for being potty trained. Well, most of the time.

Thanks sandyut. I'm still getting used to multiple food items on my plate at once.
AMEN!! Me, too. We just celebrated 39 years and it's scary to think of where I'd be without her...
It's amazing what the infulence of a good woman can do. I'm living proof also.

Thanks Keith, spring, summer and fall are her favorite seasons because I take over the cooking chores. It gives her a break and she loves Q especially over the charcoal.
