    Does anyone have any experience using Traeger smokers / grills? They look like they would do a great job but I am looking for some hands on feedback if you happen to own one or have used one in the past.

    A friend of mine just bought one and he loves it. He has only had it a week and has already smoked Brisket, Ribs,chicken,sausage, Burgers and steaks...I just ordered me one and am really looking forward to receiving it and using it. I already have the meat lined out that I am going to smoke on it...It has a great temp. range and it will make a smoke ring...

    If it were me I would buy a RecTec, the main reason is the PID temperature control.

    I ended up buying a Rec Tec and absolutely love it!!!

    OK, you bought a RecTec in Febuary and have been holding out on us with all those smoke pics? Whats up with that man?

    Just kidding! Post up some pics of your smoker and cooks when you get time.

    We would love to see them.
