Total New guy never smoked a thing

Well, My name in Monte.  The old grill finally needed an upgrade so got myself a Camp Chef Smoke Pro DLX.  Picked it up yesterday.  I live in Southern Oregon.  49 years old.  My first attempt was following a recipe online for burgers.  Seemed to take longer than anticipated and the ash cup filled up with grease.  I plan to recheck the drip pan and make sure it is installed correctly.  Other than that the burgers and brats were tasty.  Hope to try some chicken soon.
