LOL I don't know, ...I just thought most would be interest in Q'ing related info, ...I can spend days/weeks in that link, that kind of info flips my switch, thanks again, now that I have three or four weeks of 24/7 lookin' at me in front of the 'puter I have lots to peruse.

Retired, that word isn't in my vocabulary, I don't know what I would do with myself if I every did, but that's just me, I enjoy my work, I'm doing things that I have never done before (custom cabinetry), I love the challenges it brings and I live in a climate that is conductive to it, ...I'll pass on or disappear in my tennies.

I enjoy your threads and my next bacon attempt I'll try the wet brine, have a good day,

Gene

Actually being retired was not what I would prefer to be.. Go down to the bottom and watch the I may be confused video.

I would be much happier doing the work I did most of my life to being unable to do the work.

 Have a great day!!

Damn Craig. I never heard you mention that at the gathering a month and a half ago. FWIW, I dunno how you lost the weight and keep it off with smoking meats as one of your hobbies. :o)

Ok mull this one over....

A BRINE contains SALT in a liquid solution....A MARINADE is made with an ACID ,wine, vinegar or juice...

                                                         SO

What do you call a MARINADE that contains SALT...and A BRINE that is made with ACID?...JJ

Hey Craig i just watched your video link. I have a closed head injury and it does screw with the memories.

I have to use lists and books and such to make sure i keep all in order. I went for years on trying to keep working which would be driving truck and finally my rehab spec said forget it you need to be on SSD. so here i am. Any way i get great satisfaction from the simple things now such as remembering i am smoking cheese. and making a sausage that people like.

Any way i am glad you could keep working. I wish i could they just told me over and over again forget it with the Brain injury and the spine and neck injury i was not worth hiring.

Good luck and God Bless

Thanks....

I am not working..not eligible to work in my profession anymore.

It's ok I like being retired. Don't like being disabled...some times the pain gets aggravating.

I can't find any help with the SSDI paperwork yet.

Got workmans comp coming in and will for a long time it seems.

  Have a great day!!

  Craig
