Funny oddity about that scene in the movie......
There are no gophers in Mississippi! They live out in the prairie of the mid-west. Plenty of squirrels though.

Fun fact for you....purging with salt does not do anything to clean the crawfish....only stresses the mudbugs. best to just rinse and soak until the water runs clean.
